When you bring home fresh cut filet’s out of the blue, Saturday will cower in the corner like the little girl it is. If you are focused you can crank this out in about 25 minutes. 2009 is 1/12 over… For the majority of Jan I’ve been bouncing back and forth between my new left coast home in Seattle and a new gig down in Albuquerque. I’m slowing re-acclimating to the mon/thurs airport olympics routine and the gig is keeping me busy. Overall not a bad experience with my slide back into America. WatchI was out walking around the Saturday market on Sunday afternoon and I ran into these guys who were absoutely slaying the xylophones. This session went on for something like 15 minutes. It’s not too often that you can say the xylophone rocks (!!!)

I started using tumblr this weekend simply because it is easy. no more screwing around with moveable type. also the style of tumblr is more my speed. i spend most of my day parsing tangential thoughts. trying to put these random thoughts into a single unified theme became too much work. while this site may seem ‘all over the map’ at times that is the point…

Mid-way through this past week I woke up sideways and upside down on my own bed. My summer has been one of extreme travel. Sleeping in my own bed has become one of those rare events which I now approach with the same unfamiliarity as any random hotel room.
Due to this constant logistical dance my suitcase has become the central piece in my living room, gaining as much prominence as my coffee...
